NFPE & AIPEU-GDS(NFPE) JOINTLY FILED WRIT PETITION IN SUPREME COURT OF INDIA PRAYING :

(1) a direction be issued to the respondent to treat the Gramin Dak Sevaks as Civil Servants for all purposes at par with the other regular members of the civil services and regular employees in relation to all service matters including the pension and all retiral benefits, and

(2) the Department of Posts, Gramin Dak Sevaks (Conduct and Engagement) Rules, 2011 be declared invalid and unconstitutional.

NOTICE

            It is hereby notified under the provisions of the Article 31 of the Constitution that the Circle Council meeting of AIPEU-GDS(NFPE) Andhra Pradesh Circle will be held on 01-02-2014 (Saturday) at Nanduri Prasadarao Bhawan, Yellamma Thota, (near) Jagadamba Theatre, Visakhapatham.

The meeting will be presided by Com.K.Manohar, Circle President and commenced at 10.00am sharp. All are requested to attend the meeting well in time.

The following shall be the agenda of the meeting.

(2)   Ensuing two days strike by Confederation (12th & 13th Feb 2014).
